borad beans paste

Good bread with additions can be a real work of art. Initially, I planned to cook broad beans and serve them peeled with chopped garlic, smoked bacon, and dill.

I love to prepare our homemade seasonal delicacies. However, I have a weakness for eggless pastes. Broad bean paste is versatile, and it can be served with thickly sliced tomatoes, added to salads, or enjoyed with bread.

You can put the prepared paste into a covered dish and store it in the fridge for up to three days. It is truly delicious.

Ingredients:

(Recipe for 4 servings)

1 packet of fresh broad beans (about 400g)

200g of feta cheese

4 cloves of garlic

Juice and grated zest of half a lemon

1 bunch of dill

4 tablespoons of olive oil

1 teaspoon of ground cumin

Here's how to do it:

Place cooked broad beans (without peeling) in a wide container, add olive oil, feta cheese, cumin, garlic, lemon zest, and juice. Blend everything until you get a smooth texture.

Season with salt or an additional portion of cumin if needed. Sprinkle chopped dill on top. Serve the paste with crispy bread.

The recipe showcases a delightful and innovative way to enjoy fresh broad beans. Combining feta cheese, aromatic cumin, and zesty lemon creates a harmonious blend of flavors. The paste can be prepared in advance, making it a convenient and flavorful addition to various dishes.

Enjoy the delightful taste of this versatile broad bean paste as it awakens your taste buds and elevates your dining experience. Remember to use fresh, quality ingredients for the best results.
